Design software systems centered around advanced ML models, ensuring robust data and model security, as well as promoting model observability and explainability
Assume Ownership
Directly report to co-founders
Supervise key aspects of our technology and product development
Establish culture and methodology
Establish an engineering culture and refine processes
Define the technical path for core components of the product and the infrastructure
Evolve our approach to frontend infrastructure, web server design, and abstractions
Take on different roles and responsibilities
Assist in recruiting and expanding the early engineering team, taking on significant responsibilities
Strike a balance between long-term strategic thinking, intelligent abstractions, and agile, iterative development
Qualifications
3-5 years of industry experience, though exceptional candidates with less experience and robust expertise will be considered
Demonstrate a high level of autonomy and technical leadership
Adaptability and enthusiasm for delving into diverse domains
In-depth knowledge of machine learning
Proven track record in constructing large-scale, distributed analytics data processing systems (OLAP), and/or developing infrastructure for machine learning pipelines, feature and data repositories, and model monitoring
Proficiency in crafting web applications, services, and backend APIs/SDK.
Expertise in optimizing system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
Experience in constructing distributed systems and a grasp of fundamental system design principles
Familiarity and proficiency in test-driven development and utilization of testing frameworks
Comfortable working with Kubernetes and navigating public Cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
CI/CD best practices
Strong programming skills in Go, Python, Java, or similar server programming languages
Proficient in Sklearn, Pytorch, Tensorflow, and HuggingFace
